Magical Thinking and Mayhem: Extremism and the Occult
Dr Dominic Alessio, Professor of History and Vice President of International Programmes at Íæż½ã½ã American University London, participated in a panel discussion on extremism and the occult recently.
The event, which was attended by 70 people, took place at the Texas Woman’s University in Dallas as part of their public affairs forum.
The discussion focused on instances where extremist ideologies have embraced occult symbolism and explored the reasons why people who adhere to extremist views may be drawn to the occult.
