Clubs & Societies
Our motto is ‘Unity in Diversity’ providing internationalism and the London experience.
Belonging to a club or society, setting up an enterprise initiative, taking up a volunteer placement, or participating in a cultural trip builds well-rounded, mature and responsible individuals who go on to make a positive difference in the world.
University is about much more than in-classroom studying.
Supporting student organisations
A wide range of student-run on-campus clubs and societies offer students unique opportunities to develop their skills and experience in preparation for life after Íæż½ã½ã.
The Art Exhibition Society, for example, encourages students to explore the wonderful art galleries within London as well as meet with alumni working in the field, and the Green Project looks to impact the local community through hands-on volunteer work while student leaders from the International Affairs Society seek to develop greater international links.
We will empower students to get inspired, involved, and learn skills that will stay with them for life.

Some of our notable events include movie/musical nights, themed events and weekly Karaoke nights.
Since the start of the pandemic, the Theatre and performing arts industry has taken a heavy toll so starting this year, we aim to host a variety of fund-raising events in which part will be donated to the West End Theatre Support fund.

Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors work as part of a highly professional Marketing and Admissions team to attract new students to Íæż½ã½ã, establish a closer bond between existing and new students and promote the University to a wider audience.
The programme of activities for Student Ambassadors includes Open Days and Applicant Days which are planned in advance for the year. There are also opportunities to help with the marketing campaign for Íæż½ã½ã, through both social media and PR as well as administrative work for the Marketing and Admissions team.
The Student Ambassador role is an excellent opportunity to gain some valuable work experience and develop your personal and professional skills, such as communication and teamwork, providing increased employability. It is a paid role, plus gift vouchers may be given when a high number of hours are undertaken.
Student Ambassador Responsibilities
Student Ambassadors are often the first people that visitors to the University will meet and are therefore responsible for the excellent first impression visitors will receive of the University.  It’s vital that when attending any Íæż½ã½ã event, whether it’s virtual or in-person, Student Ambassadors provide excellent customer service and accurate information about the University, giving them relevant knowledge of Íæż½ã½ã and its facilities.
As well as representing the University at recruitment events, there are a number of marketing activities which are offered through the Student Ambassador scheme that you can be involved with.
Below is a description of each of the activities available to Student Ambassadors; we would appreciate your help with our virtual and in-person open day events, there is also a range of marketing activities available, let us know if any particularly appeal to you.
Commitment required
The post is completely flexible around your studies as academic commitments should come first. Student Ambassadors will be informed of events such as open events taking place each semester and can sign up to work as desired. International students should ensure that they are not working more than the maximum number of hours as detailed on their visa during term-time.
It is a paid role, at £7.38 an hour.
